Message: Our parents being close friends, Brien and I also became close friends at an early age. We played LL together on the Pioneers. He was a fantastic SS and passionately loved the game of baseball. Although our paths did not cross frequently after high school, we still had common interests. I respected Brien for his intelligence and perseverance, and his sense of humor. Thinking back on it, Brien's unique approach to life made all of those around him enjoy their lives a little differently, too. He was blessed with a very loving and supportive family, too.
