Condolences

Condolence From: Josee (LaPalme) Knecht, Keely and Jennah
Condolence: My deepest condolences to Inez, Hilda, Clyde, Janice, Kevin and their loved ones on Brien's passing. You were a shining example of love and devotion to Brien and you could clearly see that in how well he lived. I never knew Brien before his accident, only after. But I was amazed by his sharp mind and killer card skills! Many times I would sneak up to Clement and Inez's house (probably trying to avoid chores on a Saturday) and was always invited into Inez's warm, friendly kitchen to taste her delicious baked goods, gossip and play cards with Brien when he was home. Brien was as competitive as my grandmother if not more so! I always left with the thought that as changed as he life was...he still could do anything in that wheelchair. And now, in heaven, he can. I want a rematch when I see you again Brien! My thoughts and prayers are with y'all today in your time of grief. God bless. Love Josee, Keely and Jen ~ Memphis, Tennessee

Condolence: Inez and Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Brien's passing. Writing to just let you know we are grieving with you and praying you feel God's peace and strength through this time. I am so thankful, despite our age difference, I got to know Brien better when I worked with him one harvest (at the Moirs farm I think?) just before he had his own farm. I've never forgotten his stories, funny sayings, and poignant advice he shared often with me. Through my time in the Army supervising Soldiers returning from war I gained much insight into what Brien must have been dealing with during that time and I've prayed for him constantly. He is at peace now. We love you and are praying for you!

Condolence: I remember Growing up seeing Brien very frequently and him visiting often. He began farming and used to come visit a lot. After the accident, when we visited him at home, he remembered me. After all he has suffered through for 40 years, he has earned his place in heaven.

Condolence From: Carla Lynch Lindsey
Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I have many precious memories of Brien when I worked for him on his harvester. He treated his girls on the harvester like queens. And he was the hardest worker I had ever seen. He would pick each girl up in his car ar 6:00 am in Presque Isle and drive to the farm. Often times he would stop the car at a pretty spot, usually up on Parkhurst Siding for a few minutes so he could invite us to get out of the car with him to look out over the land and watch the sunrise. At those times, he and I had conversations about the importance of enjoying the quiet beautiful times in life, such as the sunrise we were witnessing. Those times, along with driving his tractor, are just a few of the precious memories I will always remember about Brien. Prayers and hugs to your family for the loss of Brien.
