Condolence: I volunteer at the VA Home in Caribou and met Doris there about a year and a half ago.
She was a very sweet lady who enjoyed telling me about her family as she would point to their pictures on the shelf in her room.
She also reminised about her life growing up in a large family, meeting her future husband while living at Squaw Pan Dam, the good man she married and how well he treated her mother.
I would often find her working on a knitting project or sorting through her yarn.
She was a blessing to know.
