Easton & Fort Fairfield - Steven M. Michaud, 71, passed away Sunday evening, September 17, 2023 at a Bangor healthcare facility, following a brief illness. He was born February 16, 1952 in Presque Isle, the son of John W. Sr. and Ella Mae L. (McGary) Michaud.

He was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School Class of 1971 and was employed in several capacities over the years, including as a U.P.S. Delivery Driver, owner and operator of Michaud’s Auto Body, Fort Fairfield, and as a self employed over the road Trucker for many years. Stephen enjoyed motorcycles and classic autos and deeply loved his family, most especially his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by three daughters, Renee K. McKenney of Caribou, Alison J. Michaud of Presque Isle, Leeann E. Michaud of Fort Fairfield; his companion, Angela Jordan of Presque Isle; three brothers; John W. Michaud Jr. and his wife Stacy of Eloy, AZ, Brent Michaud and his wife Rhonda of Fort Fairfield, Scott Michaud of Madawaska; two sisters and brothers in law, Sue Ann and Jessie White of Coventry, CT, Robin and Jeff Leighton of Lehighton, PA; nine grandchildren, Justice, Julian, Javin and Jade McKenney, all of Fort Fairfield, Jenessa Sawyer of Caribou, Autumn Sawyer of Farmington, Ella Hall-Michaud of Presque Isle, Livia Sawyer of Fort Fairfield, Von Michaud of Presque Isle; one great grand child, Camden Schwartz of Caribou; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Steven to the American Heart Association, 51 US Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, Maine 04074.
