Fort Fairfield – Troy A. Theriault, 52, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, March 31, 2024 at his Fort Fairfield home. He was born December 14, 1971 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Rosaire Jr. and Anne (Ashby) Theriault.

He was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1989 and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle and Northern Maine Community College, Presque Isle, earning a degree as a Master Electrician. Troy was employed as an electrician with J. T. Underwood, Presque Isle and later was self-employed for many years. Throughout his life, Troy enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, basketball, and the simple pleasures of life, like cooking a steak over an open fire, making choke-cherry wine to give away, or playing “Little Joe”.

He is survived by his parents, Rosaire Jr. and Anne Theriault of Fort Fairfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Tanya Theriault of Scarborough; paternal grandmother, Winnifred “Winnie” Theriault of Presque Isle; nieces and nephews, Amber Bourgeault and her husband Jessie of New Vineyard, Isaac Theriault of Scarborough; many aunts and uncles; several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private. Interment will take place at Green Ridge Cemetery, Caribou. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Troy to the charity or organization of one’s choice.
