Fort Fairfield – Matthew Thomas Devine, 41, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, May 7, 2021 at a Bangor healthcare facility. He was born May 10, 1979 at Loring Air Force Base, Limestone, the son of Thomas W. and Kimberly M. (Sharpe) Devine.

Matt was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1998 and worked for McCain Foods, Easton for more than twenty years. Matt was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish, camp, and snowmobile. He was an extremely hard worker and a wonderful father and caregiver to his kids who truly were his pride and joy.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kimberly and Jim McDonald; his father and stepmother, Thomas and Michelle Devine, all of Fort Fairfield; one son, Hudson Dube of Fort Fairfield; three daughters, Haley Devine and her companion Garrett Gray of Easton, Laney Devine and Mattey Devine, both of Fort Fairfield; brother, William “Will” Devine of Caribou; stepbrothers, Jordan Kilcollins of Saco, Bret Kilcollins of Old Orchard Beach; one grandson, Camriee Gray of Easton; one nephew, Thomas Devine; one niece, Riley Devine, both of Fort Fairfield; several aunts, uncles and extended family members.

Friends may call Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. The memorial service will be private with interment taking place at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield.
