EASTON & FORT FAIRFIELD

Easton & Fort Fairfield – Timothy H. Chasse, 57, husband of Jennifer J. (Johnston) Chasse, passed away unexpectedly Monday January 27, 2020 at his Easton home. He was born February 13, 1962 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Harold L. and Shirley E. (Deschesne) Chasse.

He attended Fort Fairfield schools, was married to Jennifer J. Johnston on November 7, 1981 and worked for several employers over the years including Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, the Seaview Campground, Eastport, Naturally Potatoes, Mars Hill, and most recently Flewelling Farms, Easton. Tim was a lifelong outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and vacations spent on the Maine coast. He also enjoyed NASCAR and football, especially the New England Patriots.

He was predeceased by his father, Harold L. Chasse; two brothers, David and Robert Chasse; one sister, Cynthia J. Lacroix. He is survived by his mother, Shirley E. Chasse of Presque Isle; his wife, Jennifer J. Chasse of Easton; two sons, Todd Chasse of Easton, Wayne Chasse and his wife Ashley of Westfield; three brothers, and sisters-in-law, Dana and Donna Chasse of Mars Hill, James and Brenda Chasse of Presque Isle, Joseph and Beverly Chasse of Fort Fairfield; five grandchildren, Rylee Chasse of Westfield, Cody and Alex Chasse, both of Presque Isle, Rylee and Savana Brown, both of Westfield; close friends, Glenn LaFrance and Paul Harris, both of Easton, Janice and Tom O’Neal of Eastport; his best friend “Muffin” the cat; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, January 31, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. There will be no formal funeral service. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Chasse to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
