WAYNE D. DUROST
FORT FAIRFIELD, & DANFORTH

Fort Fairfield & Danforth – Wayne D. Durost, 59, passed away Saturday March 31, 2018 at a Bangor healthcare facility, following a brief illness. He was born April 24, 1958 in Worcester, MA, the son of Robert E. Sr. and Ella M. (Argraves) Durost.

Wayne was a graduate of the Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, MA, Class of 1976; and after graduation was employed by the Wachusett Regional High School in their cafeteria program. He was a dedicated son and brother and loved going out to eat.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and John W. Durost; and one sister, Gloria Durost; one great nephew, Alex Murphy. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Robert E. Jr. and Susan Durost of Lancaster, MA; aunts and uncles, Alice Durost of Fort Fairfield, Orin Durost and his wife Phyllis of Pennsylvania, Gordon Argraves of Tinker, NB; Mrs. Arnold (Muriel) Durost of Presque Isle; nieces and nephews and their spouses Sandra and Cheryl Lieteau of Dudley, MA, Robert E. III and Sharla Durost of Troy, Melanie and Tim McCormick, Ronald Durost, all of Lancaster, MA, Suzanne and Andrew Tremblay of Longwood, FL; great nieces, nephews and many extended family members. The Durost family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the Danforth Habilitation Center for the exceptional care and friendship Wayne received during his stay.

A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday May 25, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield with the Rev. Kevin Kinsey officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Durost to the Danforth Habilitation Association, P.O.
