NICOLE J. SPRAGUE
FRENCHVILLE & FORT FAIRFIELD

Frenchville & Fort Fairfield – After many years of pain, suffering, and struggle, Nicole Julienne Sprague lost her battle with emphysema at the young age of fifty-two years. Nicole’s life was devoted to her two children and her grandchildren. Through their accomplishments she found joy and pride. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Nicole was born April 20, 1964 in Perth, New Brunswick, the daughter of Joseph E. and Leona (Levesque) Berube. She was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1983 and was married to Stephen G. Sprague on February 15, 1997.

In addition to her parents, Nicole was predeceased by one brother, Gerald Berube Sr.. She is survived by her husband of nearly 10 years, Stephen of Frenchville; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim R. and Alyssa Levesque of Presque Isle; one daughter and son-in-law, Patience and Peter Bernier Jr. of Frenchville; four brothers, Leonce Berube of Mars Hill, Reno Berube of Presque Isle, Gerard Berube of Eagle Lake, Richard Berube of Georgia; five sisters, Leona Bowmaster, Roseanette Couish, both of New Brunswick, Rolande Hayden of North Carolina, Yvonne Brooker of Norridgewock, Avis Ladden of Fredericton, New Brunswick; three grandchildren, Kayla Symonds of Presque Isle, Madecyn Bouchey of Frenchville, Hadley Bernier of Frenchville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Nicole to the American Lung Association of Maine, 122 State Street, Augusta, Maine 04330. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
