LIMESTONE & FLANAGAN, IL

Limestone & Flanagan, IL – Gloria M. Watson, wife of the late Charles D. Watson, passed away Saturday morning, September 10, 2016 at a Presque Isle nursing facility, following several courageous battles with cancer. She was born September 12, 1946 in Houlton, the daughter of Kenneth and Phoebe (Parent) Martin.

She was a graduate of the Limestone High School and was married to Charles D. Watson on August 10, 1968. She had been employed by McCain Foods, Easton prior to moving Illinois in 1971 where she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Good Samaritan Home in Flanagan, IL, moving to Caribou in 2014.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was predeceased by her husband Charles. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Watson and his wife Jerrilynne of Flanagan, IL, Nathan Watson of Lacon, IL; one stepson, Charles Watson of Presque Isle; two stepdaughters, Julie Watson Boehme and her husband Robert of Brunswick, Lisa St. Pierre and her husband Wayne of Caswell; two sisters, Sylvia White of Weston, and Doria Martin of Caribou; three grandchildren, Brandon and Baleigh Watson, both of Flanagan, IL, Montana Watson of Champaign, IL; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mrs. Watson to the Presque Isle Nursing and Rehab Center Activities Fund, 162 Academy Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
