Condolences

Condolence From: Karen Maynard
Condolence: Uncle Bobby and Auntie Rachel were cheerful, fun loving, and full of life. Their smiles could light up a room and they were infectious. Bobby and Rachel made everyone around them happy and they were a delight to be around.

Uncle Bobby and Auntie Rachel always made an effort to stay involved in my life once my mother and her sister passed away unexpectedly. They were there at my wedding and were one of the first people to visit me when my children were born. One day our son Keith asked Auntie Rachel if she would be his Grandmother. Auntie Rachel didn't hesitate one second with stating that she would love to be his "Gammy" and assured all of our children that they were loved and cared for by them. I really appreciated how much they cared and knew I could always count on them for anything I needed.

Uncle Bobby was a gardener guru with a green thumb! Uncle Bobby grew a blue ribbon garden and stated that gardening was supposed to be exciting, and therapeutic, and just plain fun. Auntie Rachel took care of her house like no one else could, she was a gracious hostess, and a phenomenal cook. Rachel cooked bread, pies, cookies, and anything "chippy gummy gooey" for heavenly sweets. Everything Auntie Rachel made was from scratch and made with love.

Uncle Bobby and Auntie Rachel loved their two daughters, son-in-law, and simply adored their two grandchildren. They were great grandparents that wanted their grandchildren to go farther, soar higher, and achieve greater that they ever did.

I will miss our long talks and all of the time we spent together. Uncle Bobby and Auntie Rachel your memory will live on in my heart forever. I will miss my Aunt and Uncle's smile and positive attitude. They were incredible people and will be missed by many. Uncle Bobby and Auntie Rachel may have departed this life, but their legacy lives on. It lives on in the lives of so many, and it lives on in me.

With all our love, Craig, Karen, Kyle, Megan, Keith, and Courtney Maynard
