FORT FAIRFIELD
Fort Fairfield – Lucy A. Turcotte, 63, wife of Rodney P. Turcotte Sr., passed away Wednesday morning July 1, 2015 at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, following an extended illness. She was born December 25, 1951 in Caribou, the daughter of Norman R. Sr. and Illarene H. (Mallett) Gray.

She was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School and loved flowers, collecting jewelry, and her “Family Time” most especially with her many grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lucy was predeceased by one brother, Robert A. Gray; one sister, Mary Ellen LeBlonde; two grandchildren, Haylee and Kaydence Turcotte. She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Rodney P. Turcotte Sr.; five sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney P. Jr. and Laura Turcotte of Fort Fairfield, Jasen and Norma Turcotte of Limestone, Brian Turcotte, Matthew and Tania Turcotte, all of Fort Fairfield, Robert Gray of Lewiston; one brother and sister-in-law, Norman Gray Jr. and Roberta of Presque Isle; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey M. and Bob Murray of Bangor, Alice A. Gray of Mattawamkeag, Phyllis S. and George Coleman of Marysville, CA, Alma L. and Brent Tibbetts of Presque Isle, Frances E. and Calvin Prest of Presque Isle, Judy L. and Peter Bourgion of Sebago; twenty-one grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Friends may call Sunday, July 5, 2015, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. The funeral service will be conducted Monday July 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Charlie Campbell officiating. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will be held after the service at Riverside Park, corner of Route 1A and North Caribou Road, Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Lucy to the New England Organ Bank, 60 1st Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
