Fort Fairfield & Caribou – Troy C. Blier, 35, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Caribou. He was born October 9, 1987 in Presque Isle, the son of Michael M. and Donna L. (Mazerolle) Blier.
Troy had been employed in several capacities over the years at Loring Job Corps, UPS, as an E.M.T. with the Fort Fairfield Fire and Rescue, and as manager of Card Smart, Fort Fairfield. Troy’s family and friends will remember him as a stubborn, intelligent and resilient individual who would help anyone in need, and a fierce advocate for the underserved. His life goal was to raise money and awareness for Homelessness and Recovery. Troy established Triple T Paintball in Fort Fairfield and an online collectible store and was a talented builder with great knowledge of carpentry, electrical and plumbing. He made the best homemade pizza and loved many different kinds of music and musicians, especially Frank Sinatra and Johnny Cash.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Aime Mazerolle; and paternal grandparents, Norman and Christine Blier. Troy is survived by his parents, Michael and Donna Blier of Fort Fairfield; his companion, Julie Blackstone of Caribou; two daughters, Cadie Blier and Carlee Blier, both of Fort Fairfield; two brothers, Timothy Blier and his wife Morgan of Minot, ND, Travis Blier of Fort Fairfield; maternal grandmother, Ella Mazerolle of New Denmark, New Brunswick; two nieces, Bella and Callie Blier.
Friends may call Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
