DUNCAN A. MACKENZIE
LIMESTONE

Limestone – Duncan A. MacKenzie, 89, passed away Tuesday evening, October 11, 2022 at a Caribou healthcare facility. He was born August 16, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Angus and Christina (MacLennan) MacKenzie.

He was a graduate of the Ardmore, PA High School and went on to enjoy a thirty year career with the United States Navy, as an Aviation Structural Mechanic, attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Duncan was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, Alexandria, VA, for more the fifty years.

He was predeceased by one son, Shawn MacKenzie; one daughter, Dianna MacKenzie. He is survived by several grandchildren; and great grandchildren; and his friends and caregivers, Jeff Roy and his companion Beth of Limestone.

Private interment with military honors will take place at the Northern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Caribou at a later date. Those who wish may contribute in Duncan’s memory to the Fleet Reserve Association, 125 N. West Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
