FORT FAIRFIELD

Fort Fairfield – Judith H. “Judy” Wilson, 67, wife of the late Don Wilson, passed away Thursday morning, June 2, 2022 at a Caribou healthcare facility, following a brief illness. She was born June 9, 1954 in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of George Evans Cameron and Charlotte Ellen (Cox) Nelson.

She was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1972 and was married to Don Wilson on February 14, 1988. Judy worked as a legal secretary for a number of years and has also been employed by WCXU Channel X Radio, Caribou in commercial production until her retirement in 1996. She was a Past Noble Grand Matron of Starlight Rebekah Lodge No. 82, Fort Fairfield.

In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by her husband Don Wilson on November 3, 2018; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Parsley on June 3, 1978.

She is survived by one son, William Callahan Parsley of Alexandria, VA; two daughters, Denise Renee (Parsley) Jalbert and her husband Chris of Presque Isle, Jaime Marie (Parsley) Atcheson and her husband Kyle of Woodland; grandchildren, Harleigh Elizabeth Brewer, Olivia Charlotte Jalbert, Cameron Joseph Jalbert, all of Presque Isle, Keely Marie Bailey-Parsley of Alexandria, VA; and Baby Atcheson of Woodland; two brothers, Robert Cameron Nelson, Franklin Arthur Nelson, both of Fort Fairfield; two sisters, Mary Jane Nelson, Elizabeth Mae (Nelson) Lagasse and her husband Bernard, all of Fort Fairfield; several nephews.

Friends may call Monday, June 6, 2022 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, to be followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield with Rev. Mark Babin officiating. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will take place at the VFW Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187, Fort Fairfield, immediately following the service. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mrs. Wilson to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 24 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
