LIMESTONE
Limestone – Shawn D. Ellis, 59, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, September 27, 2021 at his Limestone home. He was born October 18, 1961 in Smyrna, TN, the son of Ronald and Elizabeth (Obar) Ellis.
As an Air Force child, Shawn lived and attended school in many places, including the Limestone High School, He was self-employed as a carpenter for many years and enjoyed music and the Minnesota Vikings.
In addition to his parents, Shawn was predeceased by one brother, Toby Ellis; and two sisters, Sheila Ellis and Janine Ellis.
He is survived by one son, Trevor L. Ellis of Limestone; one daughter and son-in-law, Crissy and Preston Tracy of Woodland; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Stan and Jeanne Ellis of South Carolina, Troy and Tess Ellis of Arkansas; one sister, Anna Jo Ellis of Limestone; three grandchildren, Zakkary, Mackenzie and Brynna Tracy, all of Woodland; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will take place at a later date. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Shawn to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gibersondorseyfuneralhome.com .
