Condolences

Condolence From: James Victor Hoyt, Jr
Condolence: I am sorry to hear that my cousin, Melvin, has passed. We only saw him occasionally when I would be up to the county with my family. We would stop at his house and chat awhile, as well as visting with his sisters, Lois and Cora in Presque Isle. I have been away since 1953 so never got to know his family, but I will miss Melvin and send my condolences to the family.

Condolence: I want to share my memories of this fine man. He was like an uncle to me and my siblings. He thought a lot of family and friends. He was a lifelong friend of my father and mother. I remember visits between our families were always pleasant occasions. Mel was fun to be with and to talk with. I remember Christmas and birthday gifts the he gave me before he started his own family. I particularly recall a gift of a jackknife that I carried for years. I am glad that I knew him and that he was a part of my life. My condolences to his family.
