Fort Fairfield - Lillian Elizabeth (McGillan) Shaw, 82, passed away Friday morning, December 10, 2021 at a Presque Isle hospice facility, following a period of declining health. She was born March 16, 1939 in Lake Edward, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of John and Louise (Albert) McGillan.

Lillian was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Fort Fairfield and a devout Christian. She was loved and will be missed by many here on earth and is loved and welcomed by many at the pearly gates of Heaven! Amen.

In addition to her parents, Lillian was predeceased by three of her children, Kenneth Wayne Egan, Clifford Sean Egan, and Daniel Eugene Shaw; one brother John “Jack” McGillan.

She is survived by her children, Ronald J. Egan and his wife Veronica, Richard G. Egan and his wife Jeanette, Lawrence C. Shaw III and his wife Bobbie Leigh; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Frank McGillan, of Presque Isle, and Senior Pastor and Preacher for 50 + years, Winston McGillan of Landar, Manitoba, Canada, Ricky Hanscomb, Dallas Hanscomb and David Hanscomb; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted later in the spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gibersondorseyfuneralhome.com .
