CHRISTINE L. OLIVERO
HOULTON & CARIBOU
Houlton & Caribou – Christine L. Olivero, 70, wife of the late Vincent Olivero, passed away Tuesday morning, August 24, 2021 at a Caribou healthcare facility, following a period of declining health. She was born July 17, 1951 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the daughter of Bobby and Gloria (Alt) Bowman.
Christine was a graduate of the East Brunswick, NJ, High School, and was a resident of the Houlton area for over thirty years. She was an active member of the Caribou Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved to share her faith with others. Christine was an avid quilter and also enjoyed sewing, and gardening.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Vincent on April 22, 2018.
She is survived by two sons, James Russell of Massachusetts, Stephen Russell and his wife Jennifer of New Jersey; three daughters, Laura Smith and her husband Neal of New Jersey, Sharon Wiesen and her husband Tony of Florida, Melodee Chasse and her husband Jason of Caribou; one brother, David Bowman of Sylva, NC; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild.
In keeping with Christine’s wishes, there will be no services. Those who wish may contribute in Mrs. Olivero’s memory to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
