LOUIS A. “JAY” TURNER JR.
HIRAM
Hiram – Louis A. “Jay” Turner, Jr., 59, husband of Pamela J. (Tate) Turner, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening, March 14, 2021 in Fort Fairfield. He was born June 5, 1961 in Camden, the son of Louis A. Sr. and Nancy Ann (Stork) Turner.
Jay spent his childhood in Belfast, his teen years in Forks, WA and was a graduate of Forks, WA High School, Class of 1979. He was married to Pamela J. Tate on October 12, 2019 and was employed by Limington Lumber in Baldwin as a saw filer. He enjoyed snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, motorcycles, and fishing.
Jay was predeceased by his father and is survived by his wife Pamela of Hiram; his mother, Nancy A. Turner of Laconia, NH; one son, Kenneth Turner; one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Jamie Spencer, all of Forks, WA; stepson, Christopher Chase and his wife Sarah of Winthrop; two stepdaughters, Paula Anthony and her husband Andrew, Kayla Urquhart, all of Buxton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynn and Richard Cushman of Amesbury, MA, Denise and Sheldon Corey Sr. of Northfield, NH; grandchildren, Cade Spencer of Forks, WA, Gabby and Otto Chase of Winthrop, Lilly Anthony and Michael Urquhart, both of Buxton; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Turner will be held at a later date. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Turner to a charity or organization of one’s choice.
