REGINALD W. EDGECOMB SR.
LIMESTONE
Limestone - Reginald W. Edgecomb Sr., husband of the late Linda G. (Griffeth) Edgecomb, passed away Monday afternoon, March 8, 2021 at a Presque Isle hospice facility, following a brief illness. He was born October 24, 1937 in Limestone, the son of Walter and Mabel (Roy) Edgecomb.
He attended Limestone schools and was married to Linda L. Griffeth on October 25, 1958. Reginald owned and operated R. W. Edgecomb and Sons in Limestone from 1965 to 2007, was a past director of the Agricultural Bargaining Council, and a member of the Limestone Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Edgecomb was predeceased by his wife Linda on February 21, 2012; one son, Reginald W. Edgecomb Jr. on April 2, 1998; one daughter, Darci D. Edgecomb on March 6, 2002; his step-father, Louis St. Pierre; one sister-in-law, Marie Edgecomb; two brothers-in-law, Michael Cellini and Greg Roix.
He is survived by two sons, Cameron H. Edgecomb and his wife Pamela of Lewiston, Brent E. Edgecomb of Limestone; one brother, Larry Edgecomb of Whitesburg, TN; three sisters, Sharon Schrum and her husband Bob of St. Petersburg, FL, Joanne Cellini of Windsor, CT, Donna Roix of St. Petersburg, FL; four grandchildren, Matthew Grass of Belfast, Gretchen Edgecomb of Westbrook, Brandi Edgecomb of Bangor, Morgan Edgecomb of Rhode Island; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted later in the spring and will be announced by the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
