GISELE G. CHARETTE

Eagle Lake – Gisele G. Charette, 70, passed away Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021 at the Aroostook House of Comfort, Presque Isle, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 16, 1950 in Van Buren, the daughter of Lionel and Blanche (Tardif) Soucy and was raised in Norte Dame of Lourdes, New Brunswick.
In addition to her parents, Gisele was predeceased by three brothers, Théophane Soucy, Leopaul Soucy, Guy Soucy; two sisters, Léona Soucy and Jacinthe Soucy. She is survived by her companion of 16 years, Brian Bouchard of Eagle Lake; two sons, Jacobb Charette of Buxton, Romain Charette and his wife Cassandra of Steep Falls; one daughter Laynie Marzano and her husband Edmund of Buxton; four brothers, Hermil Soucy and his wife Geralda of St. Francois, Quebec, Gérard Soucy and his wife Claire of St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Jean Eudes Soucy and his wife Bernadette of Quebec City, Quebec, Marcel Soucy and his wife Marie France of Métis sur mer, Quebec; one sister, Mariette Soucy and her companion Alain Gauthier of Terrebonne, Quebec; six grandchildren, Amaya, Giavanna and Natalia Marzano, all of Buxton, Mirabella, Evan and Penelope Charette, all of Steep Falls; numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no services at this time. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Gisele to the Aroostook House of Comfort, P.O. Box 867, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
