Fort Fairfield & Lincoln – Monica L. Cole, passed away Monday morning, January 11, 2021 at a Caribou healthcare facility, following an extended illness. She was born September 12, 1961 in Lincoln, the daughter of Edward D. and Sandra J. (Lyons) Crockett.

Monica was a graduate of the Lincoln High School, Class of 1981 and was most recently employed by Cary Medical Center, Caribou in their housekeeping department. She previously had been employed by Visiting Nurses of Aroostook and was a Fort Fairfield resident for many years. Monica loved doing crafts and family gatherings. She especially cherished time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her father, Edward D. Crocket; her mother, Sandra J. (Lyons) Nadeau. Monica is survived by one son, Reginald Mountain of Conway, New Hampshire; one daughter, Morgan Blier and her husband Timothy of Minot, ND; three brothers, Allen E. Crockett and his wife Susie of Douglasville, GA, Larry McNamara and his wife Deb of South Portland, Scott Crockett of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Bella and Calli, both of Minot, ND; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place at the Lincoln Cemetery, Lincoln at a later date. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Monica to the Jefferson Cary Foundation, P.O. Box 89, Caribou, Maine 04736. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
