KENNETH C. ROSSIGNOL
CARIBOU

Caribou – Kenneth C. Rossignol, 63, passed away Thursday evening, September 3, 2020 at his Caribou home, following a three year battle with lung cancer. He was born April 2, 1957 in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, the son of Alfred Sr. and Regina (Dube) Rossignol.

He attended Caribou schools and had been employed as a carpenter and also worked for the John T. Noble Company, Caribou for a number of years. Ken was known as a hard worker and enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, country rides and trips to the “Tasty Freeze” in Van Buren.

He was predeceased by his father, Alfred Rossignol Sr.; his mother and stepfather, Regina and Albert Durost; one brother, Alfred Rossignol Jr.; two sisters, Muriel Dube Steele and Tina Martin Davis. He is survived by his life time partner of 37 years, Sherry Lynn Whitmore of Caribou; one son, Justin Steele of Mass; two daughters, Jessica and Jamie Steele, both of New York State; one stepson, Kenny Whitmore of Caribou; two brothers, Louis Rossignol and Mike Martin; one sister, Brenda Martin Wilcox, all of Connor; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ken’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to special friends who helped tremendously, Merrit Wilcox, David Mancos, both of Caribou, Mike Hornick of Woodland and Rick Michaud of Hermon. They also wish to thank Dr. Flynn for his guidance, Dr. Espinoza and the doctors and staff of the Northern Light A.R. Gould Radiology. You are all truly angels on earth.

In keeping with Ken’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield at a future date.
