Fort Fairfield – Scott A. Foss, 50, passed away unexpectedly Sunday June 7, 2020 at his Fort Fairfield home. He was born September 8, 1969 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Robert and Lula (Akerson) Foss.

He was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1989 and had been employed as a welder at Interstate Foods, Fort Fairfield and several New Hampshire companies. Scott was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert Foss and is survived by his mother, Lula Foss of Fort Fairfield; three brothers, Philip Foss and his wife Sheila of Perham, Douglas Foss and his wife Betty of Blaine, Robert Foss of Easton; three sisters, Maxine Hathaway and her husband Roy, Valerie Clark and her companion Terry Donovan, all of Fort Fairfield, Lisa Foss of Cottage Grove, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, services will be private. Interment will take place at St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Foss to the charity or organization of one’s choice.
