RODNEY P. TURCOTTE SR.
FORT FAIRFIELD

Fort Fairfield – Rodney P. Turcotte Sr., 68, husband of the late Lucy A. (Gray) Turcotte, passed away Wednesday January 22, 2020 in Bangor. He was born April 18, 1951 in Van Buren, the son of Aurele and Theresa (Michaud) Turcotte.

He attended Caswell and Limestone schools and was married to Lucy A. Gray on February 19, 1970. He had been employed by several area potato farmers including S. Nightengale, Reed, Giberson, and Pond Farms.

In addition to his parents, Rodney was predeceased by his wife, Lucy on July 1, 2015; two grandchildren, Haylee Turcotte in 2002, and Kaydence Turcotte in 2005; one brother, Ivan Turcotte; one sister, Shirley Turcotte. He is survived by four sons, Rodney P. Turcotte Jr. and his wife Laura of Bangor, Jasen Turcotte and his companion Nora, Brian Turcotte, all of Limestone, Matthew Turcotte and his wife Tania of Fort Fairfield; two sisters, Dorilla King and her husband Lionell of Limestone, Priscilla Campbell of Benedicta; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday January 27, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, where the funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Charlie Campbell officiating. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will be held after the service at the VFW Paul Lockhart Post Number 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield. Interment will take place later in the spring at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Turcotte to the charity or organization of one’s choice.
