Stockholm & Caribou – Jessica Lynn (McIntosh) Cunrod, 34, passed away Tuesday evening, October 29, 2019 at a Presque Isle hospice facility, following a brief illness. She was born April 23, 1985 in Boston, MA the daughter of Lyle and Christine (Michaud) McIntosh.
She was a graduate of the Caribou High School, Class of 2003 and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle where she pursued an education in Lab Technology. She had been employed as a waitress at the Jade Palace Restaurant in Caribou for a number of years and loved outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. Jessica also loved to crochet and was always there for anyone in need. Her compassionate nature and beautiful sense of humor will be remembered by all who’s lives she touched.
Jessica was predeceased by a son, Joshua M. Cunrod on June 28, 2011; her father, Lyle McIntosh; and stepfather, Donald A. Pelkey. She is survived by one daughter, Emili Cunrod of Stockholm; her mother, Christine M. Pelkey; one sister, Stephanie McIntosh and her fiancé Ryan Michaud; three nieces, Sadie, Sophie and Sydnie Michaud; and her companion, Jody Green, all of Caribou.
Friends may call Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ron Doughty officiating. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, North Caribou. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Jessica to the Aroostook House of Comfort, P.O. Box 867, Presque Isle, Maine 04769. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gibersondorseyfuneralhome.com .
