HARPER BREE SMITH
CARIBOU

Caribou – Our beautiful baby girl, Harper Bree Smith, passed peacefully at home in the loving arms of her parents, Justin and Tiffany (Martin) Smith on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Harper was born on June 15, 2019 in Caribou.

We were blessed and enjoyed every moment of the four months we had with our sweet girl. She touched many lives in the short time she was here with us and built a legacy for herself. One of the first things those who met Harper said was how beautiful she was with her piercing blue eyes; she touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met. Harper enjoyed rocking, cuddling, holding hands, rubbing noses and especially giving kisses. Harper enjoyed her daddy rocking her to bed every night, that was their special time. She had a smile that lit up the room and our hearts. Harper and her big sister Haven had a connection bigger than we will ever know. She enjoyed her sister so much; she loved to listen to her play, sing songs, rock her in the chair, hold her hand and cuddle. Haven was Harper’s little nurse who mimicked everything mommy did with Harper on her dolls, Haven loved to listen to Harper with the stethoscope and was always checking to see if Harper was okay. Harper’s last few days with us were so special. She had so much loving family and friends around her and those who were unable to be there were there with us in spirit. Harper was so alert while saying goodbye to everyone around her. We had an amazing photographer who came and took the most beautiful pictures, and hospital staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had so many precious keepsakes of our sweet girl. To those who went above and beyond to make our wish of coming home possible you will never know how much that meant to us. . Harper’s life was a beautiful gift that we will forever hold close to our hearts.

Harper Bree is survived by her parents Justin and Tiffany Smith, her sister Haven Smith, all of Caribou; grandparents, Ray & Donna Martin of Presque Isle, Dave & Darcy Smith of Houlton; aunts and uncles, Robert & Holly Campbell of Hermon, Jimmy & Sara Donahue of Presque Isle, Jason & Megan Martin of Presque Isle, Philip Smith of Westbrook, Daniel Smith of Houlton, many cousins Lily, Lacey & Laney Campbell of Hermon; Sam & Ellie Donahue of Presque Isle and Everett Martin of Presque Isle; and a warm-hearted very big extended family. Harper was predeceased by her big brother Hunter Keith Smith.
