Fort Fairfield – Lynda L. Levesque, 78, wife of the late Leonard R. Levesque, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday May 21, 2019 at a Presque Isle healthcare facility. She was born April 3, 1941 in Presque Isle, the daughter of Thomas and Violet (Wright) Norsworthy.

She was a graduate of the Presque Isle High School, Class of 1959 and was married to Leonard R. Levesque on May 21, 1960. Lynda was a communicant of the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield and had been employed for many years as a C.N.A. at the Fort Fairfield Community General Hospital and the Mars Hill Nursing Home. She was an excellent mother and grandmother, who was a friend to all. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, and most especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Lynda was predeceased by her husband, Leonard on January 12, 2014; one sister, Judy Murphy. She is survived by three sons, Stephen Levesque of California, Joseph Levesque of Fort Fairfield, Tony Levesque and his wife Suzanne of Holden; three daughters, Annette Martin and Kimberly Levesque, both of Fort Fairfield, Tammy Theriault and her husband Dwayne of Casco; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Carolyn Norsworthy of Presque Isle, Larry and Jeanne Norsworthy of Caribou, Bruce and Tami Norsworthy of Michigan, Billy Norsworthy of Massachusetts; one sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Brian White of Massachusetts; brother-in-law, John Murphy of Presque Isle; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, where the funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m.. Interment will follow at the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mrs. Levesque to C-A-N-C-E-R, P.O. Box 811, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
