Condolence: Vickie, Sammy,

So sorry to hear about August's passing. My prayers are with you and your family at this time. May god's peace be upon you as you go through this part of life; the passing of a loved one. A scripture that I thought might help at this time.

"1 Thessalonians 4:14"

For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

Condolence From: O'Neal & Jamison Family
Condolence: Our deepest condolences to my cousins Sam, Vickie, and Brad and their families. One very very good memory that I have of Uncle August is when we started to do the cheeky cheeky to each other. I would hate when he would grab my cheeks and squeeze them and say cheeky cheeky because it would hurt. But I did ask for because I would start it, one time Uncle August and Aunt Mary came over to our house and after he sat down I went up behind him and did the cheeky cheeky, that was a HUGE mistake. He got up faster then I could get away from him and we wrestled to the floor with him trying to cheeky cheeky me. As we were wrestling around on the floor my mother Evangeline O'Neal took a picture of us. Sad to say that my cheeks were really soar for a few days after that. Uncle August not only will I miss all your jokes, all your teasing, all your stories but I will miss you. But now you are in a better place, not sick anymore, not hurting from missing your family that had gone before you, and now you can tell some of your stories and jokes to God and Jesus. Rest now Uncle August you earned it, we will take it from here. Love you always Penny (O'Neal) Jamison.

Condolence From: Ayotte & O'Neal family
Condolence: Our deepest condolences to Uncle August's family.

One of my favorite memories that my mother told of Uncle August is, The year that Bella, Mom & Matante Janice were working on the potato harvester that Uncle August drove, More rocks than potatoes came up onto the belt, they swore that the field grew rocks that year instead of potatoes, joking around with Uncle August about it. My favorite memories of him was the all times that I visited him, with my grandparents Evangeline and Charlie in the summer time. The stories he told always had me laughing.

He was truly a giant teddy bear. We love you, rest easy Uncle August. We love you.

Lots of love and prayers

Condolence: Our hearts are broken with this loss! He will be greatly missed!
My most recent personal memory with Uncle August was riding around just observing the Amish and going to their bakery. Loved that time with him! Also, driving to Ft. Kent and seeing the shack they all lived in while working the potato farm in Daigle Maine. Looking at old pictures together. Mom sure is going to miss the phone conversations too. Godspeed Uncle August. You were loved!!
