Obituary for Roger W. Cote`

ROGER W. COTE`
EASTON & DANBURY, CT

Easton & Danbury, CT – Roger W. Cote`, 78, husband of Ruth (Norton) Cote`, passed away Sunday evening, July 1, 2018 at a Presque Isle, healthcare facility, following a brief illness. He was born April 2, 1940 in Bronx, NY, the son of Roland and Juliette (St. George) Cote`.

Roger was a graduate of the DeWitt Clinton High School, Bronx, NY and attended New York City Community College earning a degree in engineering. He served in the New York National Guard and was married to Ruth Norton on November 6, 1993.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Ruth Cote` of Easton; two sons, Joseph Cote` and his wife Sunok, Laurence Cote` Sr., all of Danbury, CT; one daughter Jillian Cote` of Mars Hill; one sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Walter Jahns of Winter Springs, FL; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Jonathan, and Theodore Cote`, all of Danbury, CT, Cheryl Cote` of New Haven, CT, Laurence Jr. and Dylan Cote`, both of Danbury, CT, Jamie MacKay of Easton; one niece, Erika Budke; two great nephews, Jordan and Justin Budke.

A memorial service will be conducted on Friday August 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 170 Main Street, Fort Fairfield with Rev. Kevin Kinsey officiating. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will follow the service in the church reception area. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Cote` to the St. Paul Episcopal Church, c/o Gloria Towle, P.O. Box 737, Fort Fairfield, Maine 04742.
