LINDA R. CYR
LIMESTONE

Limestone – Linda R. Cyr, 70, wife of the late Bernard F. Cyr, passed away Tuesday February 6, 2018 at an Auburn Hospice facility, folowing a brief illness. She was born November 10, 1947 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Vincent J. and Linny P. (Healey) DiNardo.

She attended the Saint Agatha Catholic School in St. Agatha, ME and received her LPN nursing degree from the Northern Maine Community College, Presque Isle. She worked for many years at the Fort Fairfield Hospital as a psychiatric nurse. Linda was a member of the Limestone United Methodist Church and was very involved in studying scripture and enjoying doing daily devotions with her sister Sandy. She received her monkhood from the Monastic Fellowship at Saint Brendon’s in Dennysville, ME. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and lived her life for her family with unconditional love.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband Bernard; one brother, Wayne DiNardo; one sister, Janice Morrissey. She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Norman of Lewiston; one sister, Sandra DiNardo of Holbrook, MA; four grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon and Cory Perry, Destiny Norman, all of Lewiston. She also leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Cathy Tangstrom, and Nadine (Cyr) Strelka of West Jordan, UT; as well as three great grandchildren, Mya and Nathalie Johnson, Alicia Kemp, all of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews.

Services will take place at a later date at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Those who wish may contribute in Linda’s memory to Hospice House, 236 Stetson Road, Auburn, Maine 04210.
