Obituary for Richard A. Woodcock

LIMESTONE & APPLE VALLEY, CA

Limestone & Apple Valley, CA – Richard A. Woodcock, 56, passed away Saturday morning December 2, 2017 at his Limestone residence, following an extended illness. He was born October 1, 1961 in Azusa, CA, the son of Raymond and Joann (Woolover) Woodcock.

He attended Apple Valley, CA schools and had worked as a truck driver, concrete worker, and most recently had been employed by Leavitt Farms, Limestone. Richard loved standing on his head, driving golf balls and going on long walks. He had been a resident of Limestone for 15 years.

In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by one brother, Larry Woodcock; and former wife and best friend, Barbara Benson. He is survived by four sons, Raymond Woodcock and his wife Amanda of Fort Fairfield, Christopher Evans and his wife Christina, Richard A. Woodcock, Michael Webb, all of Apple Valley, CA; eight daughters, Heather Binnie and her husband Anthony of Fort Fairfield, Rosa Evans, Nadia Evans, Katy Woodcock, Cynthia Woodcock, Rikki Woodcock, Norma Woodcock, Terry Webb, all of Victorville, CA; three sisters, Linda DeMorgan and her husband Rick of Washington State, Sheila Tipton and Christine Hixon, both of Apple Valley, CA. He also leaves behind his companion Tamra Davidson of Limestone; mother of his children, Marlene Evans of Apple Valley, CA; eleven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services will take place in California, at a later date. Those who wish may contribute in Richard’s memory to the American Liver Foundation at www.liverfoundation.org. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
