Obituary for Priscilla A. Greenier (DeLong)

PRISCILLA A. GREENIER
CASWELL

Caswell – Priscilla A. (DeLong) Greenier, 79, wife of Roger D. Greenier, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, November 28, 2017 at a Caribou nursing facility, with her family by her side. She was born January 25, 1938 in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Eldon Sr. “Chic” and Alice (Levesque) DeLong.

She was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1956 and was married to Roger D. Greenier on July 16, 1956. Priscilla was a communicant of the Parish of the Precious Blood St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone. She had been employed as a teacher’s aid at the Dawn F. Barnes Elementary School, Caswell for a number of years, and also worked as an accounting tech at D.F.A.S, Limestone for several years. Priscilla will be remembered as an outgoing person who loved to sing and dance. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and flower gardening.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Greenier was predeceased by one son, Larry C. Greenier; one brother, Eldon DeLong Jr.; four sisters, Barbara Oreskovic, Mary “Mickey” DeLong, Betty White, Doris Maynard. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Roger D. Greenier; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Roger Foster, all of Caswell; two grandchildren, Eric Rucevice and his wife Arika of Hampden, Caleb Foster and his companion Elana of South Portland; two great grandchildren, Leiken and Carter Rucevice, both of Hamden; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, December 1, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Louis Catholic Church, 100 Main Street, Limestone, followed by fellowship with refreshments in the church reception area. Spring interment will take place at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Limestone. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mrs. Greenier to the Caribou Nursing Home Activities Fund, 10 Bernadette Street, Caribou, Maine 04736.
