Condolence From: Richard Chandler
Condolence: Debbie, Karen & Families: My friendship with your Dad was life changing. He guided me through some challenges I would have otherwise never overcome. Highly skilled at having me believe that the improvements made in my life were all my idea. I understand his experience, strength and hope helped dozens over the last 4 decades. My time spent with him on Cross lake, in Quebec City, Montreal, PEI, Truro were cherished. Paul was an avid reader of traditional paperbacks...and we were old school traders once a month. I'll miss that too. His contributions here in Aroostook were nothing short of "great" - both civic and social. I was especially pleased that he concluded his time there (in Bangor) closer to family, his beloved UMO sporting events and the Folk Festival. When I was with him in early November he concluded that in one's lifetime, it's not unheard of to be able to count your true friends on but one hand. Your Father/Father-in-Law/Grand-Father/ was there for me on the short-list and for that I am grateful.

Condolence: So sorry to hear about Paul. Tony and I were neighbors of Paul in Streamside. I always enjoyed talking to Paul at some of the luncheons Streamside had. He will be sadly missed by all of us.
