Limestone & Bridgton – Jacqueline M. Martin, 90, wife of the late Harry N. Martin, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday afternoon November 18, 2017 at a Bridgton healthcare facility and has now gone home to be with her Lord. She was born March 31, 1927 in Limestone, the daughter of Harold and Pearl R. (Brinkman) Marx.

She was a graduate to the Limestone High School Class of 1944 and was married to Harry N. Martin on June 8, 1945. She was an active member of the Church of the Advent, Limestone, where she served as organist for a number of years. Jacqueline worked as a teachers aid at the Limestone Community School and Damon Elementary School at the Loring Air Force Base, Limestone. She was a member of the Limestone-Caswell Cooperative Extension, the Red Hat Society, a volunteer for Hospice of Aroostook and the Aroostook Wildlife Refuge, and greatly enjoyed square dancing.

Mrs. Martin was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1994; mother, Pearl Durinski in 2003; a daughter, Mari-beth Martin in 1984; and a son, Peter Martin in 1997. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann M. and Daniel “Buzz” Robinson of Norway, Patricia J. and Gregory Voisine of Avon Park, FL; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Stephanie Martin of Mexico, NY, Timothy and Dorothy Martin of Fort Fairfield; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Peter (Judith) Martin of Middletown, CT. She will be loving remembered by numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted Saturday July 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Advent, Church Street, Limestone. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will be held at the Timothy Martin residence, E. Limestone Road, Fort Fairfield following the service. Interment will be private.
