BAR HARBOR & ESCONDIDO, CA
Bar Harbor & Escondido, CA – Brian D. Walls, 67, passed away unexpectedly Sunday October 23, 2016 at an Escondido, CA healthcare facility. He was born July 7, 1949 in Bar Harbor, the son of Harvey and Mary (Grindle) Walls.
He was a graduate of the Bar Harbor High School and went on to serve his country with the United States Navy from 1969 to 1972.
In addition to his parents, Brian was predeceased by one brother, Terry Walls; one son-in-law, H. Scott Giberson; one granddaughter, Abby Ladner. He is survived by two daughters, Sare’ Giberson of Fort Fairfield, Jaime McIntosh of Portland; two sisters, Lynne Richmond of Augusta and Candice Strout of Bangor; two grandchildren, Colby and Marissa Giberson, both of Fort Fairfield; several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside committal will be held at a later date at Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Brian to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gibersondorseyfuneralhome.com
