Limestone & Brownville Junction – Marian F. Pakebusch, 72, passed away Tuesday evening July 28, 2015 at a Van Buren nursing facility, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 29, 1943 in Reedly, CA, the daughter of Paul and Mabel (Stump) Tout.

She received her education at Edwards Air Force Base, Lancaster, CA. She was the proprietor of “Marian’s Taste of Heaven” and sold fudge at fairs, craft shows and carnivals across to entire state of Maine. Marian attended the Parish of the Precious Blood at both St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield and St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone.

In addition to her parents, Marian was predeceased by two husbands, Wilbur Day and Robert Pakebusch; one son, Paul C. Day; one grandson, Ian Michael Bourgoin in 1993; and her companion of 14 years, Albert G. Blackman. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Mark Bourgoin of Limestone, Pattie and Steve Schloth of Haverhill, MA; one sister, Pamela Tout Scott of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Paul C. Day Jr. of Indiana, Tasha Ahlgren of Winslow, Sherry and Scott McNeal of Haverhill, MA; great grandchildren, Julien Hamilton, Tabitha and William Ahlgren, all of Winslow; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday August 15, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, where a service to Celebrate Marian’s Life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Alex Maria Doss officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will follow at the Fort Fairfield Knights of Columbus Hall Council Number 1753.
