Obituary for Bonnie M. Kilcollins (Kilcollins)

BONNIE M. KILCOLLINS
BLAINE & PRESQUE ISLE
Blaine & Presque Isle – Bonnie M. Kilcollins, 72, passed away Easter morning, April 5, 2015 at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, following a courage battle with cancer. She was born July 13, 1942 in Mars Hill, the daughter of Archie and Florence (Bridges) Kilcollins.

She attended Mars Hill schools and had been employed by several area businesses including, Potato Service, Viner Brothers Shoes, Fiber Materials, and more recently at McCain Foods, Easton for over 10 years. Bonnie truly cherished her time spent with her family, was a wonderful cook, especially her chicken pot pie, and was a huge Elvis Presley fan.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by her stepmother, Avis (Lancaster) Kilcollins; one brother, Odbur Kilcollins; one brother-in-law, Darrell West. She is survived by one daughter Pam Voisine and her companion Harry Lowe of Presque Isle; one bother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Lou Kilcollins; one sister, Iva West of Presque Isle; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Odbur (Marcia) Kilcollins, all of Blaine. She was known as “Meme” to her two granddaughters, Kassidy and Karlie Voisine, both of Presque Isle. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Friends may call Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church, 79 Fleetwood Street, Presque Isle, where a Celebration of Bonnie’s Life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Chris Dare officiating. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will follow the service at the church reception area. Interment will take place at Tapley Cemetery, Blaine, at a later date. Those who wish may contribute in Bonnie’s memory to C-A-N-C-E-R, P.O. Box 811, Presque Isle, Maine 04769. Envelopes will be available at the service.
