Presque Isle & Fort Fairfield – Janice Lynn Everitt, 60, passed away Thursday morning April 2, 2015 at her Presque Isle residence, following a brief illness. She was born July 7, 1954 in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of James S. III and Vivian (Akerson) Everitt.

She was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School and enjoyed reading, gardening and was especially fond of her cats.

She was predeceased by her father, James S. Everitt III and is survived by her mother, Vivian Everitt of Fort Fairfield; one son, Christopher J. Everitt of Presque Isle; one brother, Fredrick A. Everitt of Fort Fairfield; one sister, Carole L. Everitt of Presque Isle. She also leaves behind her companion, Dennis Stafford of Presque Isle, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Janice’s wishes, there will be no public services. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
