Obituary for Samuel Niblett III

Easton – Samuel Niblett III, 72, husband of the late Margaret “Peggy” L. Niblett was reunited with his beloved wife Friday morning, April 4, 2014, at a Bangor healthcare facility after a brief illness. He was born October 11, 1941 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, the son of Samuel Jr. and Margery (Chamberlain) Niblett. He was a graduate of Brewster Academy High School, Wolfeboro, NH and owned and operated his potato farm in Easton for 25 years. Sam was married to Margaret “Peggy” Niblett on December 18, 1965 and was a longtime member of the Easton Wesleyan Church. In addition to his father, Mr. Niblett was predeceased by his wife Peggy on August 11, 2011. He is survived by one son, Edward “Ted” Niblett and his wife Marissa Hendrickson of Minneapolis, MN; one daughter, Karin Rigg and her husband Nicholas of East Sussex, England; his mother, Margery Niblett of Easton and Beverly Hills, Florida; four grandchildren, Justin and Marcus Rigg of East Sussex, England, Annabelle and Max Niblett of Minneapolis, MN; two brothers, Charles Niblett of Florida, Michael Niblett of California; one foster brother, Terry Tewsbury of New York State; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday, April 6, 2014, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. The funeral service will be conducted later in the spring at the Easton Wesleyan Church at a date and time to be announced. Burial will follow at Estes Park Cemetery, Easton.
