EVELYN E. FLANNERY
FORT FAIRFIELD

Fort Fairfield – Evelyn E. Flannery, 70, wife of the late Philip O. Flannery, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 3, 2013 at her Fort Fairfield residence. She was born July 27, 1942 in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Alfred and Mary (Crock) Boulier. She attended Fort Fairfield schools and was married to Philip O. Flannery on July 26, 1975. Evelyn had been employed by several area farmers as well as Birdseye Foods and the Community General Hospital, Fort Fairfield. She greatly enjoyed card playing and dining out. She also liked to sing and watching horror films. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Philip on October 7, 2011; two brothers, Fred and Amos Boulier; three sisters, Roseanna Theriault, Julia Dean and Mary Mazerolle; one stepdaughter, Lorna Butler. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert F. and Donna Wilkins of Somersworth, New Hampshire; one daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Kendall Churchill of Limestone; one stepdaughter, Kathy Barnes and her husband Bruce of Fort Fairfield; two brothers, David Boulier of Tennessee, Edward Boulier and his wife Karen of Savannah, Georgia; one sister Rita Bubar of Michigan; three grandchildren, Nathan and Kyle Wilkins of Somersworth, New Hampshire, Amanda Churchill of Banner Elk, North Carolina; numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind dear friends, Martina and Linda DeMerchant, both of Fort Fairfield. Friends may call Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ronnie Doughty officiating. Interment will be private. A time of continued fellowship with refreshments will be held after the service at the VFW Paul Lockhart Post Number 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield.
